After obtaining his Master of Laws, Igor chose to pursue an Advanced Master in Tax Law at ULB alongside his work at Tuerlinckx Tax Lawyers. This programme enables him to explore the issues arising in his cases in greater depth and continually assess his practical experience in light of academic insights.
At the firm, he advises on a wide range of tax matters and legal issues, with a particular interest in estate and succession planning, as well as company law. He particularly enjoys working on cases at the intersection of several areas of law that call for a rigorous, pragmatic and creative approach.
His academic background also reflects his commitment and interest in discussion and legal argument. He served on the Faculty Council and the Contact Committee of the UNamur Faculty of Law, as well as on the editorial board of the Louvain Law Review. His participation in a Moot Court further strengthened his interest in legal advocacy and the defence of legal positions.
In his practice, Igor takes a comprehensive approach to his clients’ interests. He draws on his enthusiasm, precision and creativity to develop clear, legally sound solutions tailored to each client’s specific circumstances.
