HR and Finance Assistant

At Tuerlinckx Tax Lawyers Kristien holds the position of HR and Finance Assistant.

 

As an HR & Finance Assistant, she supports the organisation alongside the operational team, both on a human and administrative level. She is responsible for smooth personnel administration, onboarding, and payroll preparation. She also contributes to recruitment and selection processes and is committed to helping nurture the company culture and internal communication.

 

With a Master’s degree in Western Literature, Kristien found her way into the world of IT and software through a project in Lyon. She went on to work for twelve years at an Antwerp-based scale-up specialising in digital signatures – first as an implementation specialist, then as a project and product manager. Later, she took on the role of community manager at an Antwerp start-up connecting IT students with digital support opportunities.

 

In her current role, she combines precision and discretion with a strong people focus and broad organisational versatility. She thrives on meaningful human interaction, relieving others of their worries, and seeing projects and plans through from start to finish.

When the workday is done, you’ll likely find her on a terrace, at a music festival, or en route to a new destination – ideally with a good glass of wine in hand and the sun on her face.
