Marketing, Communication and Event Officer

Sabine is responsible for the firm’s marketing, communications and external events and as such is part of the management team.

 


All external requests in terms of lectures, seminars and webinars are coordinated by her for the team of lawyers. She also ensures the smooth running of the monthly live talk show (FFF) where moderator Jan Tuerlinckx brings four experts around the table to debate pertinent tax topics. Her duties also include organising job fairs and campus interviews to onboard the right students and managing the social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram) and the Tuerlinckx website, which was recently redesigned.

 

The communication, marketing and PR part of the role naturally includes devising and organising various campaigns. Add to that new projects around content marketing, video marketing and monitoring the typical TX house style as well as dozens of ad hoc projects (books, brochures, special events, etc.) and you can understand why the weeks really fly by!

 

Sabine has a teacher training degree in French and History to her credit but has always worked in the private sector. Euronext, the then Brussels Stock Exchange, was her first employer where she worked for 30 years, taking on various commercial roles ranging from Commercial Assistant, Account Manager to Sales Manager. After a brief interlude in the European Affairs department, she moved to the marketing department (events, bell ceremonies, coordination Marketing & Branding Brussels department). Then it was time for a complete switch and Sabine chose a local SME where she was responsible for marketing as well as Customer Care of the sales department, before returning to an “all-round” marketing and communication position at Tuerlinckx.
