Winnie Milbou

Winnie assists companies with tax audits in corporation tax, VAT and withholding tax.

Within Tuerlinckx Tax Lawyers, she has specialised in witholding tax exemptions and approaches these issues from both an advisory and problem-solving perspective. She has accumulated experience in negotations with the tax administration in recent years, where she conducts negotiations with a procedural and reactive dynamic. In many cases, therefore, she pursues an amicable solution, offering certainty to taxpayers in uncertain disputes. When an amicable solution cannot be found, she represents client’s interests before Belgian courts and tribunals in legal proceedings.

Winnie also handles criminal cases within Tuerlinckx concerning corporate criminal law and advises subject entities on the application of preventive anti-money laundering legislation in their businesses. Winnie provides among other things, training to the Federal Judicial Police on corporate criminal law.

She holds the Special Training in Cassation Proceedings in Criminal Matters certificate, allowing her to represent lcient’s interests in a criminal case to the level of the Court of Cassation.
